♥ Polaroid

I feel like I've been sharing a lot of love on my blog lately and the same goes for these pretty images by Azuree Wiitala. She's a photographer and she takes some of the most beautiful polaroid pictures I have ever seen before. My favourite ones were these polaroid's where she has made hearts out of different objects and things, especially the one with the film canisters. She sells prints and cards of her works at her esty shop, which could be a cute gift idea.

A little shout out

This post is just a little something special for some very special people to me, a shout out to my girlfriends as I couldn't live without them. Last week we enjoyed a girls night out with drinks and a lot of dancing, just like a good girls night should be. I feel so lucky to be surrounded by so many people that I care about and that care about me as well, thanks guys :)

Much Love Monday: link loves

It's been ages since I have done a 'Much Love' post so I thought to kick off my week I would do another as they are always something nice and easy to share. If you have been reading my blog this past week then you will already know that I have had the cold this past week and haven't been feeling all that great. So I have been cooped up in my house the past week and have been so reliant on other peoples blogs on keeping me sane. So I thought I would share a few link loves with you guys :)

♥ This amazing recipe for chocolate cake in a mug on Tornadoes and Tigers
♥ Op shopping tips on Foxtail & Fern
♥ New blog loves: Wolf and Willow and Susannah Conway
♥ I want to live in this house featured on Floddertje
♥ A great DIY I found on The Man Repeller on how to make your own turband

Be sure to join in next week for Much Love Monday

The cold wind blows

It has been so windy here over the past couple of days, that all I want to do is lay in my nice warm bed. I have also caught the flu which has been making me feel even more miserable. So I just wanted to say a little sorry in advance if I am a bit slow with my post over the the next week or so. Hopefully this cold goes away soon as I hate the idea of being sick when I'm on holidays. I hope anyone else who is in winter mode at the moment isn't sick like me.

Let them smoke

I just discovered this project that Sarah Adamson did last year called 'Let them smoke'. She is an Australian experimental artist working with a wide range of medias including film, illustration, photography and design. From being motivated by her curiosity and strong desire to constantly improve her work, Sarah aims to create a distinctive style that reflects her own character. In this project, 'Let them smoke', Sarah observes and dissects the nature of humans. “Let them smoke” is a project that challenges our misconception of our invincibility and states that our condition everyday is uncertain and fragile by showing how we are constantly reacting to the happenings outside of ourselves. I love the rawness of this project and the film has been shot o beautifully. This would have to be one of my favourite body of works that has done a great job of capturing real life. Someday I would like to attempt at making a film that would go along with a series of paintings or images.
