Boredness

Garden Party

 So I went to the costume party last night and my mask was a success. It was a great party, everyone dressed up and had heaps of fun. I got to take photos all night and I got some great shots. The girl's who party it was, Heather,  is so lovely :)

Top 6 picks

I thought i would do another one of these again as it was such fun last time. So here are the top six things in my life currently.

1.  Diana Camera I brought some film for it the other day and have finally gotten around to putting it in and taking a couple of shots. I forgot how much fun shooting with film was and I think i'll be doing doing it quite often.
2.  Black Books Dvd Set currently favourite show to constantly watch now. Also it has become the thing for the entire Visual Arts first year students.

3.  Twinings Irish Breakfast Tea I am addicted to it. I have like 4 cups a day of it.
4.  Barn Owls again I am quite obsessed with them. They are just so god damn beautiful :)

5.  Frankie Magazine I got the latest one today and was so happy. It felt like it had been ages since I last got Frankie.
6.  Art Academy its a Nintendo DS game and i love it. I pretty much pown at it :)

Polaroid quotes

I cannot begin to describe the amount of inspiration and hope I feel when I look and these images from Parker Fitzgerald. This is his 365 day Project where he uses Polaroid Land cameras peel-apart pack film. I particularly like how he has combined his images with inspirational qoutes. If you are unfamiliar with the 365 day project quickly its a self project where you record a photo a day. The idea is that its meant to help people with memories and also develop their photography skills over the coming year. 
I've been meaning to do one myself but was to caught up to start this time. But by just looking at these images I really want to do this more then ever. I'm thinking of getting my old Diana camera out or maybe buying a Holga camera to record my everyday and maybe combine them with quotes like Parker Fitzgerald. Could turn out to be a weekly thing for my blog where I post up my photos for the week.

Cupcakes

I need to make some pretty cupcakes like these ones, especially that pink rose. I plan on organising a tea party in the holidays with my girlfriends which will be lots of fun.

Masked Owl

I'm going to a costume party next week and have decided to go as an Owl in spirit for the new Owl movie 'Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole'. I already have a fur vest that is the same colour as an Barn Owl and all i just need to get is an white shirt with big sleeve's and a mask. Not sure if I want to make a mask or just do face paint. I think a mask would look cooler so I'm going to buy a cheap plain one tomorow and decorate it. Here are a few I've found off the net in various places:

Flee market

I'm in such a mood to get up really early and head out to a flee market somewhere. Hopefully will be able to do this when the holidays come up next month. Just pick up a few different items here and there.

Black Books Dvd Set - I brought it last week and have been constantly been watching it. I remember watching it when it first started and have fallen madly in love with the series again.

The dream I had the other night - it was so sweet. Nothing special or anything just really sweet that I wish I could go back to.

Birds

I was about to leave the house when i saw these two cuddling up in the back corner of the cage. I thought it was the sweetest thing i had ever seen in a long time so I ran back inside quickly to grab my camera and capture this moment.

 Me and some of my girls went on a roadtrip at the start of the week and i only just got to play around with my pictures I took. We went to this one place called Berry. It's kind of this place just hidden away amongst the rolling green hills. It was such a beautiful place, I would love to go there again. Maybe even buy some property or such. Anyway there had some of the most pretty peach trees I had ever seen. I've always wanted to own a peach or even a cherry blossom tree but my mum won't let me :(
