The Perfect Man

Every now and again I will gain a serious fan-girl crush on some gorgeous male celeb and lately it has been 'Glee' star Darren Criss who has won me over. What I really adore about Darren is that he is so humble  and kind to everyone that he meets, he has such a passion for both music and acting, and plus he is also quite a handsome young man. Sorry guys for my very girly post, but I actually really do love this photo shoot that he did with GQ Magazine earlier this year. I mean how good does he look in a suite! My favourite outfit is the first one with the Plaid jacket as it is such a fun, bold and quirky piece of clothing. Also, the behind the scenes video is so adorable which is mostly just of him jamming on his guitar and singing some sweet tunes.

You can see the rest of the photo's from this shoot on GQ's website here.

Gretchen Jones

I know for us people in Australia that summer is on it's way, but I had to show you this FW collection that I found last week from Gretchen Jones. I am in love with the first outfit and plan on achieving this look with a smaller budget. Even though it's technically Spring here in Australia it doesn't feel like it as I am still wearing winter clothes and layering up most days. Now I am a huge fan of Winter, but I am all ready for Summer, so please hurry up and get here already! Is anybody else feeling this way as well?
Be sure to check out the rest of the collection on Gretchen Jones' website.

Jo Totes

I have started to go through a list of things I need to buy on that list is a new camera bag. My old is doesn't have enough space in it and was being a paint to carry around as it is a hard case. So I wanted something special, something pretty but also going to do its job in keeping my camera safe. Then I was introduced to Jo totes, a shop that sells camera bags for ladies. Each bag comes with adjustable interior padding to arranged in the way that best suits your cameras and lenses. I am crushing over the Besty Mustard bag (top right) as it has comes with all these extra pockets to put things like your wallet and phone in. So if your looking for a new camera bag be sure to check out the rest of the bags available from the Jo Totes online store.

Spell Castaway

Photographer: Beck Rocchi
Model: Teresa Oman
Styling/Art Direction/Post: Lizzy & Spell from Spell
Little Angel Assistants: Zoe Tuckwell-Smith, Sarah Bulmer.

This week I was delighted to be introduced to the funky boho Australian designer label, Spell. Spell is known for their iconic Native American inspired adornments, fashion & footwear, as well as a collection of recycled and vintage fashion treasures. On their blog they have shared some lovely images of their new SS11/12 range, which looks amazing. I wish that I had hair like that, which I could wear braids and pretty feathers in it.

Stylestalker SS12 Lookbook

Stylestalker SS12 Lookbook
"Young Hollywood"
photography: kimberley gordon
model: alex spencer
styling: us (sue-ann + rach) and christeric

'This season we borrowed the elegance of classic Hollywood sirens, and made it our own with a healthy dose of 90s grunge. Kathryn Hepburn meets Courtney Love. Sophia Loren meets childhood Drew Barrymore. The aim was to mess up timeless sophistication with rock’n’roll swagger.'

Style Stalker's new lookbook Young Hollywood is so beautiful. It has such a old and classic Hollywood feel to it, kind of like a old film you can never watch too many times. I am totally loving this pale blue colour that has been used with the collection. I am totally wishing that I could add something from this collection into my wardrobe this summer. Be sure to check out the whole of the collection on Style Stalkers website here.

I can't believe that I am already thinking about outfit ideas for this coming summer. I am already missing the days when you could get away with a pretty dress and a pair of sandles.

Del Kathryn Barton charity scarf

Parlour X is celebrating their 10 year anniversary since opening their little fashion boutique in Sydney, known for a lush boudoir aesthetic and gallery-style layout of exclusive and limited edition pieces from the world's most coveted labels. To mark this special occassion they have collaborated with the Australian artist, Del Kathryn Barton, to raise funds for Ian Thorpe’s Fountain for Youth charity, which aims to improve education and health outcomes for Indigenous Australian children. She has designed a Parlour X Ten Year Anniversary limited edition scarf, which can be purchased online or in their store, with all money going to the Literacy Backpack Project.

The scarf is of her painting 'all ways', 2010. It is such a beautiful piece of hers and if I had money I would buy this. She is one of my favourite Australian artists where her work is known for its technical skill and its vibrant, figurative imagery.

100 scarves have been produced to be sold for $450 at Parlour X, and online at parlourx.com

I nearly want to buy the whole collection because it's just all so beautiful. I'm also especially loving the appearance of Mini Ponies in the lookbook. Sometimes wish I owned a horse that I could go riding on. To view the rest of the collection, go here.
